- Protect against business email compromise (BEC) attacks through Receive GUARD

Singapore-based company Connectivity Global Pte. Ltd., has launched Receive GUARD, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled email security solution in Singapore. Connectivity Global has partnered with Microsoft distributor Innovix, which has 5,500 resellers across Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Receive GUARD is hosted on Microsoft Azure platform and is compatible with Microsoft Office 365. Receive GUARD was previously deployed as an on-premises solution in South Korea through Kiwontech a member company of the K-ICT Born2Global Centre.

Startups and SMEs can use AI email security solution ‘Receive GUARD’ on the Microsoft Azure cloud service.

By leveraging on key features such as AI-enabled machine learning, multiple virtual areas, and image conversion, this AI enabled security system solution that Connectivity Global Pte. Ltd. is bringing to the regional market will provide comprehensive protection against business email attacks.

Specifically, the solution will help users filter against any spam emails, phishing emails, and malware including yet-to-be-identified viruses that they will receive in their inboxes. This includes falsified emails that many other email security solutions are unable to detect. Additionally, if the email text body contains any malicious links, it will be converted into an image. This will alleviate the risk of users unintentionally opening the document or clicking on the links that contain any malicious code.

By offering Receive GUARD as a cloud solution, Connectivity Global Pte. Ltd. aims to make Receive GUARD accessible to small medium enterprises (SME) in Singapore. They plan to launch in several Southeast Asian countries within the next few months.

The security solution company KIWONTECH has officially launched its Personnel optimization AI email security platform, SECU MAIL in Vietnam.

A member company of the K-ICT Born2Global Centre, KIWONTECH recently announced that it is actively preparing to enter the global market, as evidenced in its recent hosting of a seminar on AI email security solution platform in Ho Chi Minh City. At the seminar, KIWONTECH introduced its specialized application of security-currently a major issue in the Vietnamese IT industry-to the email sector. Hosted in cooperation with KIWONTECH's Vietnamese partner company VNETWORK, the seminar was attended by CTOs from over 70 Vietnamese companies and representatives from public corporations and institutions.

Session topics included: Status of Email Security in Vietnam, Methods of Email-Based Crime, and Solutions to Address Email-Based Crime. An in-depth information session was also held to introduce KIWONTECH's SECU MAIL.

At the seminar, KIWONTECH signed MOUs with two Vietnamese IT companies: Saco and Digital World. In addition, representatives from Vietnam's Ministry of Defense, who were present at the event and decided to adopt SECU MAIL on the spot.

Developed independently by KIWONTECH, SECU MAIL is a personnel optimization AI email security solution, checking the reliability of received email. It detects SCAM including fraudulent mail. Also, the AI engine blocks new kinds of ransomware and malicious code by verifying the number of cases that can be activated when a user opens an email.

KIWONTECH CEO Kim Dong-cheol said, "Until now, most local Vietnamese companies had been struggling with security due to their reliance on Gmail. Following a statement made by one of Vietnam's deputy prime ministers there is growing interest these days in email security. It is a great time to launch SECU MAIL Solution."

VNETWORK said "With this, SECU MAIL is becoming increasingly popular in Vietnam, because it clearly indicates the identities of email senders to all users, not only the security administrator."

As part of its plan to expand into the Middle Eastern market, KIWONTECH has also signed MOUs with the Oman-based IT companies Ozone United and Interactive Solutions and Services L.L.C. Based on these MOUs, KIWONTECH will be supplying email security products and providing remote technical support to both companies.

Kiwontech will soon be launching its AI-integrated email security solution platform in Japan.

A member company of the K-ICT Born2Global Centre, Kiwontech recently announced that it will be expanding sales of its AI email security solution platform in Japan as part of a business partnership with Taiyo Tsushin Kogyo, with which Kiwontech signed an MOU in March. The value of the platform is expected to exceed USD 200,000 (approx. JPY 20 million).

Kiwontech is currently operating its email security platform business in Japan in cooperation with the medium-sized webhosting company Fairway, which is acting as its distributor in the country. The products being sold include an email system and sender/receiver security.

Developed entirely independently by Kiwontech, SCM GUARD is a personnel optimization AI email security solution, checking every user's received and outgoing email information. It detects malicious emails utilizing AI despite of receiving many large attachment files at same time. The AI engine blocks new kinds of ransomware and malicious code by verifying the number of cases that can be activated when a user opens an email.

Kiwontech CEO Kim Dong-cheol said, "SCM GUARD has a function that analyzes and screens various potential threats posed by unprocessed electronic mail and can preemptively detect emails that display any suspicious characteristics, such as those related to APT attacks or spear phishing, or have any other features that are out of the ordinary. Thanks to SCM GUARD's ability to screen malicious emails that appear to have been sent from actual addresses, we believe that the product will be highly welcomed in Japan. Going forward, we will continue to do our best to ensure that our AI email security solution platform enters the global market as soon as possible."

Starting with Taiyo Tsushin Kogyo, a manufacturer and seller of materials for the construction of telecommunications infrastructure, Kiwontech hopes to steadily expand its business activities in Japan by creating a sponsorship group that includes Iroku, Notoice, Tetris, PR Soft, and UNIARK.

The seminar on SCM GUARD will be held on the 15th at 16:30~18:30 of this month at Osaka Building 6F, MJE WORK seminar room in Osaka.
