In collaboration with Ygnite, the young professionals’ arm of the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA), Born2Global Centre continues to promote cross-cultural partnerships through a joint venture global development project.

The Ygnite 2021 Startup Showcase pitch competition on January 29-30, 2021 is designed for early-stage startups to compete for a chance to accelerate, expand, and thrust their businesses at an international scale.

In addition to the $3000 prize money for the winner, all participating startups enjoy the benefits of being considered for a Joint Venture program by Born2Global Centre, the main Korean government agency under the Ministry of Science and ICT. Through financial and professional resources of $50,000 ~ $70,000 in investments from the Korean government, Korean and American deep tech startups will be exposed to consultation services and facilitation of knowledge transfers to build impactful partnerships and business developments.

The program lineup consists of a pitch competition, mentorship sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and a networking session for innovative entrepreneurs to increase and enhance multilateral collaborative partnerships. Participants will receive invaluable leadership training from established professionals on how to become successful startup CEOs, experience custom mentorship with prominent VCs and CEOs, and gain keen insight from pioneers in various industries on their strategies and prevention methods.

Born2Global Centre will continue to advance the deep tech startup ecosystem by entering and expanding global markets in hopes of cross-cultural collaborations toward mutual business growth and success cases.
