Rubik’s Cube is a 3-D combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik. Since the birth of this toy, there have been numerous approaches to solve the cube. However, it is hard to find the ones with modern technologies. Although there are so-called digital products on the market like Xiaomi’s mijia giiker or Rubik's spark, they do not fully act as “digital” cubes.

eX-Mars Cube is the state-of-the-art cube with IoT-based technology. It has diverse fearues : solution-recording, step-by-step solving instruction, auto-scrambling, time-recording and self-solving mode. Two-hour charge allows up to 30-day operations. Many beta testers participated to improve the quality and performance of the cube with an array of trials. Users can share their solving-methods on the web through the ‘sharing mode” and be ranked by recording their scores.

eX-Mars cube is scheduled to crowdfund at Kickstarter within October.
